Keira Knightly can't be stopped! Ever since her breakout role as a tomboy in Bend it Like Beckham , this Brit has starred in countless big-budget action flicks from King Arthur to Pirates of the Caribbean . This time around she's playing Jane Austen's heroine Elizabeth Bennet. She'll have big shoes to fill: the 1995 mini-series which starred Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth is considered by many to be an unbeatable adaptation.

Everything Is Illuminated
Actor Liev Schrieber ( Party Girl, The Manchurian Candidate) goes behind the camera to direct this adaptation of the critically-acclaimed novel. Elijah Wood ( Lord of the Rings, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind ) stars as a young Jewish-American who heads to the Ukraine to find the woman who helped his grandfather escape the Nazis during WWII.
