Celebrities Wear the Hottest Back-to-School Trends

Hollywood celebs have taken a lesson from Fashion Club! Stars have been seen out and about wearing the hottest trends inspired by our own Fashion Class Schedule. Check out four of our favorites!

Homeroom

While hosting the live casting special for MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew,” Mario Lopez kept it collegiate in a jeans-and-tee combo topped with a letterman-inspired cardigan, complete with a crest emblem below the left shoulder.

Knock out the chill and look cool doing it in a versatile sweater you can wear with just about anything. Try the Gap Reversible Zip-Front Sweater ($59.50) with jeans and your favorite tee.

Art Class

Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal showed some artistic flair at the New York premiere of her flick The Dark Knight, wearing a gorgeous Dries Van Noten gown that resembled vivid flowers painted on a black canvas.

Step out in style in a flowing maxi dress with a soft watercolor print like this bebe ‘Esmeralda’ Maxi Dress ($159).

Metal Shop

Songbird Alicia Keys toned down her silver metallic leather vest with cool grey jeans, softly curled hair, and clean makeup at a recent performance at the 02 Arena in London, England.

Feel like a glamorous star like Ms. Keys by mixing a metallic top with your favorite jeans. We’re wild about this Bianca Nygard Metallic Jersey Flight Jacket ($68) because it's a mix of glam and sporty.

Science Class

Sitting front row at the Giambattista Valli show in Paris, tastemaker Mary-Kate Olsen kept her look stylishly severe wearing all black and huge, goggle-like sunglasses with a lunar eclipse effect on the lenses.

Go incognito like MK in oversized sunglasses with gradient lenses that are tinted on top and almost clear on the bottom. We love the Gold Bar Aviators ($300) from British fashion queen Victoria Beckham’s dVb Style Sunglasses line.
