At FIDM, getting involved is fun. Events on and off campus are scheduled regularly for students to network with industry leaders, as well as with each other.

Alice In Wonderland Fashion Show

Disney™ and FIDM collaborated on an exciting project to celebrate the launch of the Alice in Wonderland Blu-ray™ and DVD release. Six Advanced Study Fashion Design Grads participated in the FIDM SuperLab™ project led by Nick Verreos (Fashion Designer, star of Project Runway, and Graduate/Instructor at FIDM). They each created a couture gown inspired by the characters in the film. The gowns made their premiere on the runway at a fashion show and opening night event for the FIDM Museum & Galleries' Alice in Wonderland Exhibition.

Watch a behind-the-scenes video about the making of the gowns in the FIDM SuperLab™ on our YouTube site.
