Reasons to Love Paris, France

If you've never been to Paris you don't know what you're missing! From the cuisine to the shopping, and yes, la Tour Eiffel, there are so many reasons to love the City of Light. Paris, je t'aime!

Haute Cuisine
(Grand Cuisine)

Fleur de sel, aubergine, haricot verts? In France, even the simplest ingredients, like sea salt, eggplant, and green beans, can be haute cuisine thanks to some of the world's finest culinary schools and chefs. From croissant to cheese to chocolat, people flock to this city for a truly unique (and tasty) culinary experience.

La Tour Eiffel
(The Eiffel Tower)

More people have paid to see the Eiffel Tower than any other monument in the world, and for good reason. It's the tallest building in Paris and at night it positively sparkles with 20,000 twinkling lights, making the Parisian skyline one of the most breathtaking you'll ever witness.

À La Mode (In Fashion)

Many of the industry's best-loved Fashion Designers come from France, so it's not surprising that Paris is considered the fashion capital of the world. Twice a year, editors, buyers, and fashionistas descend upon the city for a week-long celebration of haute couture (high fashion) and prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear) fashion, featuring runway shows from Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Lacroix, and more.

La Ville-Lumière
(City of Light)

Paris is called the City of Light, not just for it's stunning appearance, but also because it has, for centuries, attracted intellectuals and lovers of art, culture, and history to its many museums, theatres, and monuments, including the Louvre and the Arc du Triomphe. Additionally, Paris was the first European city to light its streets with gaslamps (other cities reserved gaslamps for one night a year, but Paris kept the street lit year-round).
