Alabaster’s elegant shop is filled to the
brim with (what else!) white home
furnishings and décor and exotic gifts,
including hand-blown glass, original
paintings, and gorgeous Venetian mirrors. While most of the treasures are priced accordingly, we loved the affordable book of portraits by Phaidon.

This shoe shop has to be one of our
favorites on the west coast. It might be
because Bulo imports shoes from Italy
every three weeks! Or maybe it’s because
they carry our favorite brands, including
Camper, Vic Matie, Obeline. Either way,
it’s our ultimate addiction. Tip: Bulo Men
is right across the street.

Even the most dedicated shopper won’t
be
able to pass Frjtz by without stopping.
This tiny but popular eatery serves up
Belgian fries with a variety of dipping
sauces. Try the pesto mayo or curry
ketchup, or both!
